Press quality is the outcome of balancing adhesive, temperature, pressure and dwell. Common focus points:

Adhesive & Spread Rate

• Adjust to line speed and core absorbency.
• Excess spread leaves marks; too little weakens bond.

Temperature & Pressure

• Follow a chart matched to species and panel thickness.
• Low pressure traps air; excessive pressure crushes fibers or causes surface ripple.

Dwell & Cooling

• Pulling early weakens adhesion.
• Controlled post‑press cooling and resting reduce internal stresses.

Sanding & Calibration

• Light calibration levels the surface; over‑sanding damages veneer.
