Natural wood veneer

Natural wood veneer is a real wood surface sliced thinly from a log, carrying a unique grain and tone on every sheet. We offer 50+ options including oak, walnut, ash, beech and exotic species, all of which can be pressed onto MDF or particleboard to become veneered panels.

Natural vs engineered veneer

Natural veneer is sliced directly from the tree, giving a lively, variable and unique look. Engineered (reconstituted) veneer is produced by dyeing and re-pressing fast-growing wood, providing a more consistent, repeatable pattern and colour. We supply both depending on your aesthetic and budget goals.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is veneered MDF?

Veneered MDF is a panel made by pressing a natural or engineered wood veneer onto an MDF or particleboard core, giving the look of real wood.

What is the difference between natural and engineered veneer?

Natural veneer is thinly sliced from a log and shows a unique grain on every sheet. Engineered (reconstituted) veneer is made from reprocessed fast-growing wood and offers a more consistent, repeatable pattern.

What sizes are veneered MDF panels produced in?

The standard size is 2800 x 2100 mm. Custom sizes and thicknesses can be produced on request.

How thick is the veneer?

Wood veneer thickness is typically in the 0.6 - 1.2 mm range.

What does E1 quality mean?

E1 is a quality and health standard indicating low formaldehyde emission, making the panel suitable for indoor use.

Where does STARGRAF manufacture?

STARGRAF's factory is in Sakarya / Adapazarı, Turkey, with branches in Ankara, Istanbul (Dudullu and Ikitelli), Izmir and Bursa / Inegol.
